GREETING FROM GERMANY

Thomas Lubbig writes

With unabated interest, I keep following the club communications on a regularly in my e-mail inbox.

It's been a while since I left Marblehead, but I have obviously kept a very fond memory of my six weeks in this marvellous place. I have now collected the items I wanted to send you, that is first two photographs with the club hat on at some surprising locations. So you will see me wearing the club hat before the Sagrada Famila (unfinished church in Barcelona). I aso sneaked into a fan shop of the Barcelona soccer club (FCB) and placed the hat on one of their display dummies....

...Back here in Berlin, we will continue rowing through the fall and probably only stop in December,as soon as there is a thin layer of ice on the water. As last year's winters were always quite cold, we could then only resume in February or even in March.

May thanks again for having me at your club. (and I'm seriously considering the Blackburn Challenge next season. Will that be in July again?)

With best regards,

Thomas
