John Hancke and I rowed Thursday night, from about 6:30 until near sunset. I learned, the hard way (did I hear the word "blisters"?), what happens when you haven't rowed in 10 days. I hard a hard slog out to and around Children's Island against the incoming tide and light wind. But the return trip was fast and fun. John had an easy row the whole way.
Before it got too dark, I put new padding/wrap on one of the club-boat racks that had lost its pad. I left about 15 feet of pipe wrap, along with duct tape and scissors, in the our storage box, so anytime anyone sees that a pad has fallen off, it will be easy to make a quick repair.
