GREAT SATURDAY WASHDOWN!!

What do they say....many hands make for light work? Well many hands were on board this past Saturday for the "Now Annual" Scull washdown party. Thank you Thomas V for making this happen on behalf of RnR. Paul M, Jon H, Stephanie B, Jane S (freshly returned from her four week Paris emersion Trip) and myself made up the cleaning crew. Included also was a"cameo appearance" by Scott O.
All boats were removed from the racks, cleaned, polished and returned spanking new. Yes I did say ALL BOATS. You privateers with your special rowing sculls feel free to pass around thanks and appreciation to be included. (Ah.... sorry Jay that did not include your double the "Mucky Ducky"....).
Even more exciting news that morning was the maiden voyage of Thing 1 and Thing 2 our newly renovated Alden Stars that recently joined the fleet. Thom V and myself had the pleasure of test driving these two new beauties. I think you'll all find that they are a very cool addition and an enjoyment to row. But bewarned that they are far less stable the our tried and true Echos and you should feel comfident with your ability and the conditions you might encounter before venturing forth.
